How the TSA Lock Finder Performed in Reliability Tests?

The TSA Lock Finder (LT-T60), featuring Find My tracking capability, has received excellent feedback. With EU and German patents, it meets European safety standards. Additionally, it includes USB-C recharging with a 60mAh battery for convenience and reliability.

We understand that many customers are concerned about the reliability of TSA locks. Rest assured, we work closely with the world’s largest TSA lock manufacturer and have conducted reliability tests that simulate everyday use. The results confirmed that the lock performs reliably as expected.

Lifespan Testing:
5,000 Presses & Rotations, No Issues

We tested by toggling the reset switch 500 times, pressing the unlock button 5,000 times (50-60 times per minute), and rotating the digital dials 5,000 times. All tests showed no issues—everything performed as expected, with no looseness or failures detected.

Tensile Strength Testing: Holds Over 110kgf

The lock was mounted on a tensile testing machine to measure the maximum force required to break it, using a Φ3.0 lock cable and a standard of over 50kgf. The average force our three samples could withstand was 110kgf (approx. 1079N). This confirms that the lock is highly durable and can handle significant force.

We also performed other tests, including salt spray, temperature and humidity, UV weathering, drum, and drop tests. These tests further validate the lock’s durability and performance.
