After our previous article on mini cameras, some of our European customers asked whether we have a version with removable batteries. Under the EU’s new Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, portable batteries will need to be easy to remove and replace starting in February 2027. So this question has been coming up more often.
Our new kids digital camera uses 4 AA batteries, which can be easily replaced with standard batteries available on the market, making it EU-friendly. It is designed like a game controller. The sides are comfortable to hold and also house the battery compartment.
